2025 Maine Jr Ski League Championships

Day 1 • February 11 • Black Mountain of Maine

Giant Slalom/Freestyle 

Welcome to Black Mountain of Maine.  Helping us with a few simple expectations while at the ski area and on the mountain will help us conduct a great competitive event and make your race experience at Black Mountain of Maine more enjoyable for you and everyone at the mountain.

Race Date:      February 11th, 2025

Event:          Giant Slalom

Start Time:     9:00 am.

Schedule:

 7:30          Bib/Lift Ticket Pickup

 8:00          1^st Run Inspection

 8:45          Inspection closed/Hill closed from start down

 8:55          Forerunners

 9:00          1^st Run (Girls first)

TBA          2^nd Run after completion of 1^st Run (no course reset)

Alpine Lift Tickets

All athletes and coaches must have a lift ticket.  Lift Tickets and bibs will be handed out in the Main Lodge in front of the fireplace on the middle level. Race fee is $27.00/racer. Checks need to be made payable to "Chisholm Ski Club". Credit Cards will not be accepted. There is an ATM available.

Waiver and Release of Liability Forms

Each athlete must have a current signed Liability Form on file to compete.

Bring form to Bib Pickup. Do not mail or email!

Skiing or riding on the race hill

Skiing or riding on the race hill between the race start and the bottom of the hill will be limited to coaches, course crew.

Race bibs

Racer bib must be visible at all times.

Starts lists, results, and live timing (when available) will be posted online here:

Results and disqualifications will also be posted in hard copy at the end of each run on the information board located near the finish area.

Start Time:     2:00 pm. Estimated (depends on completion of Alpine event)

Schedule:

12:30          Bib/Lift Ticket Pickup

 2:00          Girls (confirm time with start list)

 TBA          Boys (time is approx. 3:00. confirm with start list)

Bib Pickup – In trailer near start/finish area

All athletes and coaches must have a Bib.  Bibs will be handed out at Race Headquarters. Race fee is $11.00/athlete. Checks need to be made payable to "Chisholm Ski Club". Credit Cards will not be accepted. There is an ATM available in the Main Lodge.

Skiing on the race course will only be allowed in the direction of the race.
