Mountain Valley's Lily Boulanger sweeps individual titles
The Yarmouth High School women, led by Logan MacLeod and Gwen Zimmerman, captured the 2026 Maine Principal's Association Class B Alpine Championship at Black Mountain of Maine. MacLeod, a senior, finished fourth in the morning's Giant Slalom race and 2nd in the Slalom in the afternoon while junior Zimmerman finished fifth in the GS and 13th in the Slalom. Other scorers for the Clippers were Taylor Carr, Sophia Tipple, and Finley Giguere.
Coming in second place was Fort Kent High School. The MPA Good Sportsmanship Awards were presented to Fort Kent HS in the North and Maranacook HS in the South.
Lily Boulanger, a senior for Mountain Valley High School, took individual honors with victories in both the Giant Slalom and Slalom races. Haidyn Saucier of Fort Kent and Emery Dodge of York HS finished second and third in the Giant Slalom. MacLeod and Maranacook's Phoebe Bell also made it to the podium in the Slalom race.

Reed Michaud and Tristan Riley take individual titles
The Fort Kent High Shool Men won the 2026 Maine Principals Associaltion Class B Alpine State Championship under blue skies at Black Mountain of Maine on Tuesday. Second place went to the Yarmouth Clippers. 
The races were postponed one day because of the weather on Monday, and both the Giant Slalom and Slalom races were run in one day, with the GS only doing one run.
In the morning's GS, Reed Michaud of Fort Kent took gold with a time of 50.65. Second place went to Cooper Dodge of York High School with a time of 51.68. The third place was won by Tristan Riley of Maranacook with a run of 52.19.
After a lunch break, racing continued in the afternnoon with two runs of slalom. Riley took first place with a combined time of 1:25.86. Second place was won by Michaud with a time of 1:27.30. Taking the final podium position was Dodge with a time 1:27.55.
Also scoring for the champion Owls were Wyatt Marquis, Finley Marquis, Caleb Pelletier, and Caleb Saucier.
The Good Sportsmanship Awards went to Fort Kent in the North and Maranacook in the South.
