ALPINE CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION
Tuesday, February 6, 2024
7:45am Alpine registration at Main Lodge ticket window (bibs, fees, running orders)
8:00am Lift Opens
8:15am Gate Keepers meeting (each school provides 1 gatekeeper)
8:15-9:15 am Course Inspection
9:15am Course closed
9:30am Start of Alpine Giant Slalom Race – 2 runs, Women, Men (one course reset)
2nd run inspection begins 15 minutes after the end of the first run

If we can, slalom will start earlier but these are rough times.
12:45-1:45pm Course Inspection
1:45pm Course closed
2:00pm Start of Alpine Slalom Race – 2 runs, Women, Men (one course reset)
2nd run inspection begins 15 minutes after the end of the first run
Fees: Alpine: $30.00/athlete/race, so $60 if racing both, make checks payable to Chisholm Ski Club of Maine
Bibs: Bibs are provided by Chisholm Ski Club. No racer is allowed on the hill without bib visible.
Run Order: Send running orders for Alpine to Chisholm Ski Club at
Volunteers: Each School must provide one Gatekeeper or Course Worker for Alpine Events. Skiing volunteers will be issued a Lift Pass as needed.
Amenities: The main lodge will be open for restroom use and the Snack Bar will be open throughout the day.
Awards: Awards will be given outside the main lodge after all events are completed.
Giant Slalom- Places 1-3 (medals), Places 4-6 ribbons
Slalom- Places 1-3 (medals), Places 4-6 ribbons
Team Champion- Combination of GS + SL

2:00pm Nordic Classical Pursuit Start Women
2:45pm Nordic Classical Pursuit Start Men
Fees: Nordic: $12.00/athlete, make checks payable to Chisholm Ski Club of Maine
