Mary Harrington of the Green Mountain Valley School won the U16 5k freestyle race 
at Black Mountain of Maine. Harrington won the Chisholm Ski Club Eastern Cup race with a time of 14:412.2. Second across the line was Amelia Circosta, skiing for the Craftsbury Ski Club, with a time of 14:57.0. Circosta’s teammate Clair Serrano came in third with a time of 15:07.6.
The race consisted of two trips around the well-groomed 2.5k trail on the renowned John Roderick Trail System.
