The Chisholm Ski Club, Black Mountain of Maine and NENSA successfully hosted the 2023 Maine Event Cross Country Cross (XCX), despite unfavorable weather conditions. Undaunted by cool temperatures and a persistant drizzle, 52 competitors braved the conditions for a fun-filled roller skiing event consisting of hills, ramps, and a slalom course. The skiers especially enjoyed the three levels of the Black Mountain parking lot.
