EVENT: 5km WOMEN 15 Sec interval CLASSICAL (J2s first) 5km MEN 15 Sec interval CLASSICAL (J2s first)
SEEDING: Racers to be seeded fastest to slowest with J2s first.
AWARDS: Awards will be at 2:30 pm in the Stadium. Racers must be present to win the bib draws.
COACHES MEETING: 9 am in the hand timing building.
WAX TESTING: Wax testing allowed on the course up to 15 minutes before the start. Everyone must ski in the direction of the race course.
WAXING: Wax rooms available (for a fee) in the wax building on a first come first serve basis. Email chisholmski@gmail.com to reserve a room.
COURSE All spectators and coaches are welcome out on the course during race. Skiers MOVEMENT: must travel in the direction of the race course at all times. The race will be a 5K, consisting of 2 different loops. Coaches should familiarize their skiier with the two loops, paying particular attention to the intersection at 6B. View course map.

BIB PICK-UP: Bib pick-up will be in race headquarters upon arrival at Black Mountain. Race headquarters opens at 8am. Please return unused bibs prior to the start of the race. $45.00 fee charged for any lost bib.

JUNIOR II SELECTION: Maine Junior II team will be chosen from the day’s race results: Selection will be made and announced at the awards ceremony. Those named to the team must be prepared to pay the team leader if intending to go. (JII – born 1996 or 1997)

This is a chance for Skiers in grades 12 and under from across the State to come together in one great event with a course and venue prepared to a National level. This is the premier event of the season and a great preparation for the State Nordic meet.
