Mountain Valley Conference and the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference are holding their Ski Championships jointly at two venues this year. Day 1 will take place in Rumford at Black Mountain of Maine and will feature the Giant Slalom race and Nordic Freestyle race. Day 2 races move to Titcomb Mountain in Farmington for the Slalom race and the Nordic Classical Pursuit race.

8:00 Gate Keepers meeting in Main Lodge Conference room. (each school provides 1 gatekeeper)

Nordic Freestyle

12:00 - 1:00 Nordic Freestyle Registration at Race Headquarters; bibs, fees, running order

2:00 Nordic 5K FREESTYLE WOMEN'S START - 15 Second Intervals

Bibs: Provided by Chisholm Ski Club
  Note: No racer allowed on the race trail without the bib visible.
Tickets: All athletes, coaches, race staff, volunteers and spectators must have a ticket to ride lift or ski on trails.
Running Order: 8-athlete teams (8 men and 8 women maximum per event, plus athletes that are competing for skimeister and are not part of team). Please list skimeisters separately. Send running orders for Alpine and Nordic to Chisholm Ski Club at [email protected] (Bob Arsenault: 357-8844) by 8:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6th. Please include number of non-participating athletes requiring tickets. Note: Because of the lower number of skiers racing, schools may enter all their Nordic racers
Volunteers: Each School must provide one Gate Keeper or Course Worker for the Giant Slalom event. If a school cannot supply a worker, they must notify Jim Aylward (357-8681) by noon on Monday, Feb. 8th, and pay a $50 fee so a replacement keeper can be scheduled. Skiing volunteers will be issued a Lift Pass as needed.
Passes: Maximum of 3 coach Lift Passes will be issued per team. All non-participating athletes will be required to purchase a lift/trail ticket ($18 Alpine or $9 Nordic).

Note: Because of the lower number of skiers racing, schools may enter all their Nordic racers.
