Chisholm Ski Club's
Adopt a Tree Program
Dear Black Mountain of Maine and Chisholm Ski Club Supporter,

In celebration of Black Mountain of Maine's 50th anniversary, the Chisholm Ski Club and Black Mountain of Maine are launching an Adopt a Tree program with a goal to plant evergreen trees and vegetation to enhance the appearance of the entire area.

For 50 years, Black Mountain has served the Greater Rumford Area and the ski world and has touched many who have fond memories skiing at the Mountain.Black Mountain has been given a rebirth and the ability to survive by the foresight of the Maine Winter Sports Center, who recognized the historic value of this community based ski area.

Investments were made in two new chairlifts, new base lodge, maintenance building, paved parking lot and new trails from the summit. This year, the Chisholm Ski Club will finish a world class cross country stadium and trail network, forty years in the making that has earned it an international reputation. Over $4,000,000 was invested in the area from a Libra Foundation grant.

Please join us in donating to this program and being part of the next 50 years of Black Mountain. Your contribution will be memorialized by your name on a plaque in the new base lodge. You also can help by passing this along to all your friends and family that have been a part of the history of Black Mountain.

Linked below is an application for you to donate online or an application to do so by mail.

On behalf of the Black Mountain Operating Board and the Chisholm Ski Club, we thank you for your tax deductible contribution and we hope to see you skiing at the New Black Mountain of Maine.

Sincerely,

Chisholm Ski Club and Black Mountain of Maine Operating Boards
