Jan. 17th: TD Banknorth Rumford Eastern Cup Weekend Skate Sprint, EC/JNQ/NRL 10:30 AM all men, followed by all women. 1:30 PM Official heats for top 30 overall men ( including J2's) and top 30 overall women ( including J2's). Separate heats for top 12* J2 Boys and top 12* J2 Girls, qualifying below the Official heats. (*number of J2 athletes advancing in these separate heats may change, based on how many J2's are entered- see NENSA rules for specifics) There will also be demo sprints with a focus on fun, that will be run after the main event is completed, for others who want to partipate! Registration: Registration: $30 per race or day, $55 if registered for both days. $10.00 penalty for late registration each day. Non-members add $10 per race or $20 for the weekend. This event also serves as the Chummy Broomhall Cup, honoring Maine's top college team. Masters-only Wave Option. 9:00 AM BKL; 10:00 AM J2 boys; 10:30 J2 Girls; 11:00 women; 11:30 Men. There will be separate masters waves for men and women that skiers aged 30+ may opt into. Masters women will follow open women; masters men will follow open men.
